Sunscreen, fresh-cut grass, and the aroma of something cooking on the barbecue are all staples during the summer. The warm temperature intensifies all the scents in the air and I can’t help but get excited about the summer scents I’ll be wearing. Trading my warm, musk fragrances for light, floral and fresh ones I’ve rounded up my ultimate favorites for summer.
Nectarine Bloom & Honey Cologne
This alluring scent is a sweet, inviting blend of fruits and honey. On my skin, it’s incredibly light and airy but still fragrant enough to make an impression. I love wearing this during the day, perfect for brunch and picnics with friends.
Top Note: Cassis
Heart Note: Acacia Honey
Base Note: Peach
This is my all tme favorite scent – and most likely what I’m wearing every day. I’ve been obsessed with it ever since I got it in my fragrance sampler from Sephora. I absolutely love the way it melts into my skin as it smells effortlessly fresh and citrusy. It’s not overpowering at all and has such a unique scent, I’m constantly getting asked what the scent is.
Top Note: Mandarin Orange, Clementine, and Juniper berry
Heart Note: Basil, Pepper and Star Anise
Base Note: Sandalwood, Cypress, and Haitian Vetiver
Green Tea and Pear Blossom
More on the floral side we have Vera Wang’s Green Tea and Pear Blossom. This scent is such a beautiful light, simple smell. Since it is an eau de toilette it doesn’t last as long as the others, but on occasion, I do like to wear this one out. The gorgeous blend of peony and bergamot linger in the air over the other notes.
Top Notes: Pear Blossom, Bergamot and Green tea
Middle Notes: Freesia, Peony and Orange blossom
Base Notes: Musk, Cedar and Sandalwood
I love alternating different perfumes and having a simple rotation throughout the seasons. Personally, each scent triggers different memories whether it’s a night out with the girls or enjoying lunch on a rooftop. What are your favorite scents?
