I know when spring has sprung when I go from a nice hot Chai Latte to a cool iced Strawberry Acai Refresher. Same goes for my closet. It’s time to start switching out the dark reds, grey, and black for light pastels and dainty patterns. Lately, I’ve been obsessed with brown and all things neutral.
My current goal is to completely take black away from my closet and transition to brown. There’s just something about a brown monotone look that makes me feel chic, effortless, and trendy.
When I saw this jumpsuit in & Other Stories it just screamed spring. The light beige color is the perfect shade of brown to go with almost every tone. The tortoiseshell buttons add an extra color of detail that is much appreciated.
One of my favorite items I brought back from Europe was this thrifted purse. The cute detailing and the warm shade of brown reeled me in and I knew I had to have it. Plus, it was three euros which made it that much better. Adding a dark piece can help contrast the overall outfit to really highlight all the details.
Whenever I wear my Reeboks I instantly feel a retro 80s’ vibe – and I’m not mad about it. In fact, I love it. The brown soles really tie in the look and make it more relaxed for a day of walking and hanging out.
The overall structured fit of the jumpsuit lets me get away within the office and on a casual day out like today. Spring is definitely my favorite season thanks to all the flowers blooming and the warm, skin kissing sunshine. What color are you most excited to wear this spring?
